This 2009 Blazer and Henkes - Deja Vu - Phoenix 18 is a truly great guitar built by our friends from Tuebingen, Germany, Rudy Henkes and Willi Blazer. Guitars from these builders are considered by many to be the most simliar to the coveted pre-war Martins of the 1930's. This is a Mahogany back and sides model with an Alpine spruce top. While made in 2009, this example remains in near mint condition. True to their reputation this guitar is very comfortable in the company of the finest pre-war Martins in looks, feel and sound. Being a vintage collector and dealer, as well as being the first US dealer for B and H, I have had nearly 30 of these fine guitars go through our shop over the last dozen years.
